It’s Christmas, All Over. Again.

It’s Christmas, All Over. Again.

December 23, 2025

There are not many times of year as celebrated and cherished as the end-of-year holidays. It has a feel, a rhythm, a vibe—something no other season quite matches. Walking down the street, driving through your local shopping district, squinting as you pass your neighbor’s ambitious light display—it’s unmistakable.

It’s Christmas.
And that means both wonderful and stressful moments are ahead.

Buying gifts. Decorating. Hosting family. Coordinating work around kids’ events. Picking up friends from the airport. Realizing your tires are low on air on the first bitterly cold morning of the year, sound familiar?

It’s easy to feel like everything needs to be done now, and done perfectly. When life speeds up like this, even good financial habits can slip into the background. That’s why this season is a great reminder to pause, breathe, and approach both life and money with a little more grace.

So before the calendar fills up even more, try a few small shifts to steady yourself during the holidays:

  1. Schedule “You” Time.
If you never seem to have time for yourself, that’s a sign it needs to be intentional. Block an hour (or two) for whatever helps you recharge. Treat it like an appointment—because it is.
  2. Move Your Body.
Exercise isn’t about checking a box. It’s one of the most effective ways to reduce stress and improve clarity. A gym session, a yoga class, or a simple walk around the block all count.
  3. Good Is Better Than Perfect.
Not enough gifts? Decorations not quite Pinterest-worthy? That’s okay. Doing something—showing up—is the goal. Chances are, you’re already doing more (and better) than you give yourself credit for.

The same mindset applies to financial decisions. Progress matters more than perfection, and thoughtful planning beats last-minute reactions every time.

At Riggle Wealth Group, we believe sound financial decisions are built through clarity, education, and a disciplined, research-based approach—not pressure or one-size-fits-all advice. Our team brings strong credentials and diverse perspectives to help clients navigate both the busy seasons and the big decisions with confidence.

If the holidays have you thinking about your financial priorities, or simply wanting a second opinion, I’d welcome the opportunity to talk. I offer confidential financial planning conversations designed to meet you where you are. You can email me directly at jakelawrence@rigglewealth.com or call our office at 717-630-1001 to schedule a time to connect.

Most of all, don’t be hard on yourself. Enjoy the lights, the laughter, and the moments that matter.

From all of us—Merry Christmas.
